Scott and Seth Autographed.
First off, I want to thank a few people for making this possible. Dane Honeycutt for arranging the whole thing. It would have been really easy for him to ignore my first email. Ben Trivett and Todd Roeth for their blessings to use their amazing photos as source photos for me to draw from. Dolphus Ramseur for his blessing. Scott and Seth for taking the time to sign the prints and original artwork. The Avett Brother's fans too. I think the Avett Brothers would be the first to tell how lucky they are to have the fans that they have. I am not sure how to go about auctioning off the original signed artwork yet. I just want to raise as much as I can for St. Jude's. Open to ideas on that if anybody wants to throw them my way. I'd welcome any of them. I will be setting up a website with paypal to buy prints. I will have prints with or without a signature. The prints will be $50. All the money after shipping and paying for the print production will go to St. Jude's on behalf of all the Avett Brothers fans. Until the website is set up, I can be reached at mr.pencilpusher@gmail.com to buy prints or for any questions. It was a really good surprise to see Bob at the Springfield show. I hope to start on the portraits of Bob and Joe very soon.
Thanks
Brock

Scott Avett Portrait
Hey all, Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big Avett Brothers fan. Jeff Lasley, a good friend of mine turned me on to them years back and I haven't stopped listening to them since. They are amazing live as well. If you get the chance to see them, DO NOT PASS. When I decided to do a portrait of Scott Avett, I had the intention to do so as a commission for an Avett fan. Long story short, I started without being paid and she ran into some issues with money. Not a big deal, and no hard feelings. This is one I wouldn't have minded holding on to anyways. Then I got to thinking about how gracious the Avett Brothers are, and how much they give, and give, and give. Not only to their fans, but to charities as well. When I heard that Bob Crawford's (The Avett Brothers bass palyer) 22 month old daughter Hallie, had a brain tumor, I was heartbroken. This is one of those cases of "bad things happen to good people". I have plans to meet with their tour manager on March 10th to have the portrait signed by Scott. I am hoping that I can have this auctioned off to help raise money for St. Jude's Children Research Hospital. I am currently working on a portrait of Seth and intend on doing one of Bob, and Joe Kwon (the band's cellist). It is my goal to have all of these signed and auctioned off for St. Jude's. The hardest part about a pencil portrait is find a good source photo to work from. Ben Trivett's photo of Scott made this pretty easy for me. He is an amazing photographer that you should all go check out. www.bentrivett.com. I will be selling prints of the Scott Avett portrait with all the money going to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. If anyone is interested please contact me at mr.pencilpusher@gmail.com
